Early life

Yogi Adityanath is a Hindu Rajput family born in Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, whose father Mahant Anand Singh Bisht Ji was the Mahant of a Guru Gorakhnath temple. Yogi Adityanath himself remained the Mahant of that Temple after the death of his father, as well as it is said that Yogi Adityanath's father Anand Singh Bisht was a forest ranger, from where he became the Mahant of Gorakhnath temple after retiring. At present, his brother Mahendra Singh Bisht is in the Indian Army, and his two brothers work in the college, he also has an elder sister and Yogi has two younger sisters.

Yogi Adityanath became the youngest MP by winning the election from Gorakhpur in the country's 12th Lok Sabha elections at the age of 26. He worked in the Ministry of Civil Supplies of Home Affairs and Committee of Food in 1998 and 1999 and was re-elected to the Thirteenth Lok Sabha in 1999 and continued in the old posts. In the year 2004, he again won the election for this seat and continued to work in all the old posts. In the year 2009, Yogi Adityanath Ji was again elected as his representative in the 15th Lok Sabha and after which he became a member of the Transport and Tourism Culture Committee, after that in the year 2014, Yogi Adityanath Ji again won the SAIL election in the 16 Lok Sabha of India and became the MP of the Lok Sabha.

Anand Singh Bisht, the father of CM Yogi Adityanath, is not in this world at present, he died on 20 April 2020 at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi at the time of the Corona epidemic. In the family, his mother Savitri Devi is a housewife, and he has three brothers, one of whom is named Mahendra Singh Bisht, and two younger brothers who work in the college. Yogi Adityanath also has 3 sisters, one of whom is named Shashi, who is elder than Yogi. Apart from this, there are two younger sisters, whose names are not in our knowledge. Mahant Avaidyanath Maharaj Ji is the religious guru of Yogi Adityanath, whom he considers and respects more than his family.

To start the life of Sanyas, Yogi met Mahant Avaidyanath, after which his name changed from Ajay Singh Bisht to Yogi Adityanath. After taking sannyasin life, Yogi took a pledge to leave home, and after leaving family, to serve the country and do social service. On February 15, 1994, Mahant Avaidyanath gave initiation to Yogi as the Guru of the Nath sect and made him his disciple. After this Ajay Singh Bisht's name was changed to Yogi Adityanath. After the death of Mahant Avaidyanath on 12 September 2014, Yogi Adityanath was made the Mahant of the Gorakhnath temple and as per the traditional rituals of the Nath Panth, the temple's Peethadheeshwar was made.
