Michael Jackson was the king of Pop. He was born on 29 August 1958 in Gary, Indiana United States. His father's name was Joseph Jackson, and his mother's name was Katherine Jackson. He was born into an African-American working-class family, the eighth of ten children of his parents. His father worked as a steel mill worker and his mother was an honest Jehovah's Witness. Jackson was very poor and lived in a small house with only two bedrooms for him.

Michael Jackson's Singing Career
He was a music lover from a very
young age. His three older brothers formed a band called the Jackson Brothers Band.
Michael and his brother Marlon joined the band in 1964. At the age of just
eight, Michael began singing lead vocals with his older brother, Jermaine.
That's when they changed the band's name to The Jackson 5 and started singing
all over town. He then began teaching in the Midwest where he used to sing in
bars and clubs. Michael was becoming very famous as a lead singer. He could not
attend school, as he was surrounded by fans, so he was tutored by private
tutors between rehearsals and concerts. He did not get to play with other
children of his age. While singing with the Jackson 5, Michael had several solo
albums. At first, his solo career didn't take off, but he did have a few hits
including "Ben" and "Got to Be There".
In 1978, Michael met music
producer Quincy Jones while working on the set of the film "The Wiz."
He broke up with the family band and worked on his first "Grown Up"
album in 1979, with Michael releasing the album from the movie "Wall". It was a
huge hit and featured four top ten songs, including the number-one singles
"Rock with You" and "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough". He
reunited with Quincy Jones and, in late 1982, released the album Thriller which
had seven top ten songs and won Eight Grammy Awards, becoming the
best-selling album of all time. He released many more successful albums
including Bad, Dangerous, Invincible, etc.
Michael Jackson Dance Career
Michael Jackson named his dance move Moonwalk, which he learned from the street dancers outside his hotel.
Michael Jackson was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. He was the only artist from the Rock and Pop genre to be inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame. He was also an inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Michael said that he has had only Two plastic surgeries, namely on his nose and chin. He claims that both the surgeries were done due to ill health. He broke his nose while practicing a complicated dance move, it is believed that he had several other surgeries.
Marital life of Michael Jackson
Michael was married twice. His first marriage was to Lisa Marie Presley on May 26, 1994, at the age of 34. But they got divorced in 1996. His second marriage was to a nursing assistant named Debbie Row on November 14, 1996.
The couple was blessed with two children. , Michael Joseph Jackson
Jr. and Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson both separated in 1999. Her third child
was Prince Michael Jackson II from a surrogate mother through artificial
insemination.
Death of Michael Jackson
Michael died of a heart attack on
25 June 2009. Then he was fifty years old. The heart attack was probably caused
by drugs he was taking to help him sleep.
